Job summary

Whitestone Resourcing Limited in the North West England is recruiting a Business Development Director to own the growth strategy for a facilities services business. You will lead opportunities, build client relationships and drive new contracts across public and private sectors.

Reporting to the owners, you will shape the go-to-market plan, mentor the BD team, and ensure successful mobilisation of new work while maintaining strong governance and commercial discipline.

Qualifications

• Significant business development experience in facilities management or related services.
• Proven track record of securing new contracts and growing revenue.
• Strong public sector tendering experience and bid leadership.
• Ability to operate autonomously and influence senior decision-makers.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on approach to winning work.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing a strategic business development plan.
• Identifying and converting new business opportunities in public and private sectors.
• Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Leading tender and bid processes from identification to award.
• Developing senior-level client relationships.
• Negotiating commercial agreements and service contracts.
• Collaborating with operational leadership for successful mobilisation.
• Providing market intelligence and strategic recommendations to the board.
