Job summary

Evotym, a payment infrastructure platform, seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to build and lead the BD function from the ground up. This remote role focuses on outbound strategies, scalable processes, and driving growth in international markets.

You'll collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Product, recruit and mentor a growing BD team, and leverage modern sales tech and AI tools to create a predictable pipeline while traveling for key meetings.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Go-to-Market roles with a focus on outbound sales and new business acquisition.
• Experience building or scaling a Business Development function from the ground up.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching Business Development professionals, or readiness to take a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of outbound sales methodologies across email, LinkedIn, phone, and account-based prospecting.

Responsibilities

• Build and establish the Business Development function from the ground up with scalable outbound processes and playbooks.
• Define and execute the outbound strategy to create a predictable pipeline.
• Lead top-of-funnel activities to ensure high-quality opportunities for the sales team.
• Design multi-channel outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, phone, etc.
• Implement and improve the BD tech stack including CRM and AI-powered tools.
• Develop lead qualification frameworks, outreach standards, KPIs, and reporting processes.
• Represent the company at conferences, events, and customer meetings to create strategic relationships.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product to align messaging and GTM initiatives.
• Bring market intelligence to influence commercial strategy and product positioning.
• Recruit, mentor and lead the BD team as the function grows.
