Qualifications
- Strong hands-on AWS experience
- AWS infrastructure and core cloud services
- Kubernetes and containerisation
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Linux and cloud infrastructure
- Automation, scripting and monitoring tooling
- Agile engineering environments
- Experience working with customers or stakeholders
- Mentoring or guiding other engineers
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy and manage containerised applications with Kubernetes
- Develop IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation or similar
- Automate deployment, monitoring and operational processes
- Support secure development, deployment and operation of software products
- Collaborate with development teams to improve delivery processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud and infrastructure issues
- Provide technical guidance to other engineers
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and solve technical challenges
- Contribute to Agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban)
- Keep up to date with emerging AWS technologies and best practices
