Job summary

Anson McCade Pty in Leeds is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build and deliver cloud-native applications across large-scale programmes, leveraging AWS and modern engineering practices.

You will work in an agile, cross-functional team to implement microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerised deployments with Docker/Kubernetes, ensuring quality and observable production systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in backend languages (Java, TypeScript, Python, C# or Go).
• Strong exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of microservices, APIs, and modern app architecture.
• Experience with Docker or containerised deployments.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver cloud-native applications across large-scale programmes.
• Develop and maintain microservices and serverless architectures.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Work with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) to deploy scalable services.
• Contribute to performance, security, and observability in production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
