Job summary

Anson McCade is supporting a leading global consultancy in expanding its high-performing Engineering team. This hands-on role focuses on designing, building and supporting cloud-native platforms across AWS and Azure, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and technical excellence.

You will mentor engineers, drive DevSecOps and SRE practices, implement Terraform IaC, and use AI-assisted tooling to improve reliability and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Hands-on DevSecOps engineering in enterprise environments.
• Proven Terraform experience building Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud-native practices.
• Experience supporting live production platforms.
• Comfortable leading technical discussions and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support scalable cloud platforms across AWS and Azure.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across environments.
• Drive DevSecOps best practices and engineering standards.
• Implement SRE observability, monitoring and reliability.
• Support production environments and drive continuous service improvements.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical discussions in agile teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity.
