Job summary

Anson McCade Pty in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join its engineering team on complex government and public sector projects. The role focuses on designing, building and supporting secure, scalable cloud environments for diverse client engagements.

You will work hands-on with AWS, DevOps automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and containerisation, mentoring other engineers and engaging directly with clients to solve challenging technical problems.

Qualifications

Experience designing and operating scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Proven ability to mentor engineers and work with clients.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
Deploy and manage containerised applications using Kubernetes.
Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or similar.
Automate deployment, monitoring and operational processes.
Support the secure development, deployment and operation of software products.
Work closely with development and engineering teams to improve delivery processes and platform capabilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud and infrastructure issues.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers.
Work directly with clients to understand requirements and solve complex technical challenges.
Contribute to Agile delivery practices including Scrum and Kanban.
Keep up to date with emerging AWS technologies and DevOps best practice
