Job summary

Netcompany in the UK is hiring a DevOps Engineer to implement and support improvements, enhance software quality, and accelerate delivery times. You will join a multi-disciplinary team across Development, QA, IT Operations, InfoSec, and UCD, focusing on people, process and tools to deliver a unified customer experience.

The role requires extensive experience with AWS, CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Java, and GitOps principles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
• Experience using Terraform(infrastructure as code), Kubernetes and Helm
• Experience in Java
• Experienced with multiple ecosystem databases, architecture and integration
• Experience with monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance
• Database Management: Experience with schema change management (e.g., Liquibase)
• Knowledge of GitOps principles
• Experience working within the public sector/central government is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience of DevOps tooling, containers and containerisation
• Communication: translate business requirements into technical implementation
• Facilitate information/business knowledge as a business SME
• Stakeholder Management: negotiate and influence stakeholders to ensure service is effective
