Job summary
Arden Resourcing Limited is partnering with an innovative technology business in Oxfordshire to recruit a Senior Robotics Software Engineer. The role focuses on developing autonomous robotic software, leading technical initiatives and delivering robust solutions for real-world deployment.
You will work with cross-functional teams across software, electronics and mechanics, shaping the technical direction of future projects and guiding engineers through complex design challenges.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial robotics software experience.
- Strong programming in C++ and/or Python.
- Experience with ROS/ROS2.
- Familiarity with Gazebo or NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
- Understanding of robotics principles: kinematics, dynamics, sensor integration and fusion.
- Proven ability to lead technically demanding software projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and build sophisticated robotics software for autonomous platforms.
- Take concepts through simulation, testing and deployment.
- Ensure integration with hardware and mechanical teams.
- Improve software reliability and performance via testing and reviews.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and support their development.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and future technology planning.
