Job summary

A leading NHS healthcare provider in King's Lynn seeks a Senior Audiologist to join their friendly Audiology team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive audiology services, assist in diagnostic support to the ENT department, and manage community clinics across West Norfolk. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments for patients of all ages, developing individual treatment plans, and programming hearing aids. Senior Audiologist

Join our friendly Audiology team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the provision of audiology services, providing diagnostic support to the ENT department and a comprehensive hospital and community rehabilitation service across West Norfolk.
  • Cover a number of community clinics across West Norfolk, working both within the team environment at the hospital and autonomously within the community.
  • Undertake full audiological assessment of infants, children and adults, including complex and non‑routine cases such as those with multiple disabilities.
  • Analyse test results and other assessment data to determine differential diagnosis, the need for medical opinion, and to decide on treatment options.
  • Develop, arrange and implement individual treatment plans for adult patients, including the frequency of follow‑up visits required for each patient according to the complexity of the case in a person‑centred way.
  • Select, programme and evaluate hearing aids for adults, including the provision of specialised audiological and related services.
Qualifications
  • BSc in Audiology or equivalent.
  • Post‑graduate clinical experience.
  • Experience working within an NHS hearing aid service.
