Qualifications

  • Must have 3 years' experience in adult rehabilitation.
  • Advanced knowledge of paediatric Audiological assessment.
  • Previous paediatric Audiology experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide audiological assessment and management interventions.
  • Work collaboratively in a team and make autonomous decisions.
  • Deliver sensitive advice regarding hearing in emotive situations.
  • Contribute to clinical direction and patient care in adult rehabilitation.

Selecting optimal hearing aid and programming algorithm
Complex software for hearing aid programming
Clinical judgement in conflicting data
Knowledge of Auditbase
Knowledge of Affinity software
Knowledge of MedRX software

Education

BSc/MSc Audiology or STP/CAC training
CACDP stage 2 BSL
