South West Norse is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist to lead project teams and deliver high-quality technical information for education and related sectors. You will coordinate multidisciplinary inputs across all RIBA stages and ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
Advanced Revit skills and 2D drafting are essential, with a track record of leading complex construction projects.
Qualifications
- Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist with strong design delivery experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and Autodesk 2D drafting for education projects.
- Professional accreditation such as CIAT or progress toward chartership.
- Experience leading project teams through multiple RIBA stages.
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Building Safety Act.
Responsibilities
- Act as project lead and coordinate multidisciplinary inputs across RIBA stages.
- Develop designs and produce detailed technical drawings and construction information.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring high technical standards.
- Submit Planning and Building Control applications and secure approvals.
- Travel to client sites and maintain strong client and stakeholder engagement.
