Senior Analyst - Investment, Fiduciary & Pensions

Job Ref: LF40539

Working as part of a collaborative and multi-disciplinary supervisory team, the successful candidate will contribute to the oversight of a broad range of licensed firms and pension providers. This role offers a chance to work at the heart of financial services regulation while gaining exposure to thematic reviews, risk assessments and policy initiatives.

Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Supervising firms using the PRISM risk-based supervisory framework.
  • Reviewing financial returns, business risk assessments and periodic reports submitted by licensees.
  • Contributing to on-site inspections, file reviews and thematic supervisory work.
  • Preparing clear and concise documentation, including risk memos and internal updates.
  • Assisting with the review of applications for licences, approvals or variations.
  • Supporting internal governance and reporting processes.
  • Liaising with licensees, industry professionals and other divisions within the Commission.
  • Participating in consultations, regulatory projects or policy development initiatives.
  • Maintaining awareness of sector-specific risks and regulatory developments.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fiduciary, investment, pensions or compliance environment, or within another regulatory or legal role. Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills are essential. A relevant professional qualification (or willingness to study towards one) such as STEP, ICA, CISI or ICSA is desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, good judgement and a commitment to upholding regulatory standards in a dynamic and evolving sector.
