Job summary

TTEC Digital's AWS Professional Services practice seeks a principal-level cloud engineer to design, build, and deploy modern cloud contact centre solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS. You will lead hands-on delivery across multiple countries and languages, with a focus on scalable, secure architectures and production-grade deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development or cloud engineering experience.
• Demonstrable Amazon Connect implementations in enterprise settings.
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js with production deployment experience.
• Experience with AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, CloudFormation or Terraform.
• REST API development and integration with CRM/backend systems; CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Ability to work in cross-functional Agile teams; UK work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Amazon Connect contact flows, IVR and routing for voice and digital channels.
• Build and deploy serverless integrations using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Kinesis; connect to backends.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation for repeatable deployments.
• Support country go-live rollouts, configuring Connect instances across multiple countries and languages.
• Contribute to WFM delivery, forecasting, scheduling, and real-time/historical reporting integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, participate in design workshops, and document runbooks and guides.
