Job summary

State Street is seeking a Lead Alpha Architect for Asset Owners to shape the Alpha Asset Owner business across Private Markets and Front office. You will design and implement comprehensive solutions for our clients, lead client engagements, and drive workflow optimization through data-driven insights.

With 10+ years in financial services, you will bring deep front/middle/back office knowledge and familiarity with Bloomberg AIM, Aladdin, SimCorp, Factset, and ORION.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on Asset Management, Asset owners and OCIO workflows and models preferred to start.
• Proven grounding in Front Office or Private Markets within the Asset Owner / OCIO segment
• Proven track record in designing and implementing complex solutions.
• Deep understanding of front, middle, and back office operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software tools (e.g., Bloomberg AIM, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Factset, Fidessa Minerva, ORION).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions for Asset Owner and OCIO clients, leveraging our front-to-back office platform.
• Build strong relationships with clients, understand their requirements, and communicate the value of our solutions.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of client workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Leverage data analysis techniques to inform solution design and identify risks and challenges.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to implementation and ongoing support.
• Become a subject matter expert on our front-to-back office platform and its capabilities.
• Support business development efforts by providing consultative guidance to prospective clients.
