Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to own and operate the AI tooling estate, from discovery to onboarding and retirement. You will manage the model gateway, provider integrations, and governance controls while acting as the Copilot services owner and deploying strategies across the firm.

You will collaborate with AI Engineering, AI Security, and Procurement, ensuring cost‑effective, secure, and compliant tooling adoption in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in platform engineering, software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering.
• Experience building and operating shared AI/ML tooling at scale.
• Proven ability to manage licenses, entitlements, and governance in a regulated environment.
• Hands-on administration of SaaS platforms and vendor management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI tooling estate from discovery through onboarding and retirement.
• Engineer and operate the model gateway, routes, and provider integrations.
• Define and enforce identity, entitlements, and secret handling across platforms.
• Act as service owner for Copilot services and manage deployment plans.
