Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a senior AI governance professional to shape the responsible adoption of AI across asset management. You will govern AI policies, monitor regulatory developments, and coordinate with senior stakeholders to align risk, controls, and ethical standards.

The role emphasizes governance, oversight, and collaboration with technology, privacy, and risk teams to enable responsible growth while meeting regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AI regulation and governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF).
• Experience owning enterprise policy, governance and risk frameworks (AI/tech/data).
• Understanding AI risks, controls, monitoring practices.
• Experience establishing monitoring capabilities with tech solutions.
• Experience defining ethical AI conduct standards.
• Ability translate regulatory requirements into business controls.
• Oversight in regulated environments, influencing senior decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory landscape for AI rule-making and interpret impacts.
• Own interpretation of standards and translate into policies and controls.
• AI Policy owner coordinating with Head of AI and stakeholders.
• Own AI risk appetite and risk framework including approvals.
• Establish ethical AI and autonomous conduct standards.
• Provide governance advice arising from laws, regs, standards or policies.
• Ensure AI risk aligns with other risk management policies.
