Job summary

Janus Henderson Group is transforming AI governance and platform security. You will engineer controls across Nexus and Accio, translating risk and regulatory needs into robust, automated systems with policy-as-code and secure defaults.

You will work with Risk, Infosec, and Legal to implement scalable governance, identity management, and auditable workflows while delivering reliable, high‑integrity AI capabilities across the firm.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in software, platform, or security engineering with production delivery experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with APIs and IaC.
• Hands-on with identity, access, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Build governance into the platform through policy-as-code and deployment gates.
• Design identity, access, and permissions patterns across agents, models, and tools.
• Develop telemetry, evidence, and evaluation layers for audits and compliance.
• Collaborate with Risk, Infosec, Legal, and Privacy to translate requirements into technical controls.
• Define lifecycle and release requirements for experiments, pilots, and production AI products.
• Create dashboards and evidence packs for owners and audits.
