Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Distinguished Technologist for AI & Data Center Networking. The role blends technical architecture with strategic pre-sales, leading end-to-end solutions for complex, global deals across data centers, AI networking, and WAN environments.

The successful candidate will influence technical strategy, deliver impactful demos, and mentor junior technologists. A 2-day-per-week office hybrid is expected with international engagement, travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of technical experience in network infrastructure architecture and pre-sales.
• Experience with AI networking, data center, hyperscale environments.
• Proven success in complex pre-sales roles and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Certification: JNCIE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary technical architect early in complex sales cycles.
• Architect end-to-end networking solutions for data centers and AI networking.
• Lead design and customization with input from specialists and product teams.
• Deliver compelling demos, PoCs, and technical presentations.
• Engage with hyperscalers and large enterprises to co-design solutions.
