Oxfida is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support Track 5 – Commercialisation & Value in an international AI research programme. You will lead discovery, gather requirements, analyse markets, and translate business needs into actionable use cases for research, product development and commercialisation.

The role involves engaging with insurers, industry partners and researchers to validate opportunities and build robust business cases.

Qualifikationen

• Senior-level experience in business analysis within complex technology, digital or innovation environments.
• Leads discovery and documents business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translates current-state and future-state processes into actionable recommendations.
• Identifies assumptions, dependencies, constraints, risks and data requirements.
• Supports or develops business cases, benefits analysis and evidence-based decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.

Aufgaben

• Lead structured identification, evaluation and prioritisation of potential AI use cases arising from programme research outputs.
• Work with industry stakeholders, prospective customers and SMEs to understand market needs and business problems.
• Undertake targeted market and competitor analysis to size opportunities and inform focus.
• Analyse and define use cases with business problems, users, outcomes, dependencies and success measures.
• Support validation and prioritisation with insurers and partners using evidence.
• Lead detailed business analysis and requirements gathering for priority opportunities.
• Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate needs into structured requirements for research, engineering and product teams.
• Identify risks, data requirements and constraints for proposed use cases.
• Define success measures and acceptance criteria for validation of outputs.
• Work with AI Commercialisation Strategists to assess potential business value.
• Gather evidence to establish baselines, customer need and expected benefits.
• Assess benefits including efficiency, cost reduction, experience and risk.
• Develop outline and detailed business cases with costs, benefits, risks.
• Sense-check market claims and ground recommendations in evidence.
• Analyse current-state processes and identify pain points.
• Define future-state processes and required people, data, tech and governance changes.
• Assess operational impact and implementation considerations.
• Maintain traceability between problems, requirements, capabilities and outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with researchers, engineers and stakeholders.
• Develop understanding of programme research to assess market applicability.
• Translate technical capabilities into business implications for non-technical stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into inputs for research and engineering teams.
• Maintain traceability throughout the use-case lifecycle.
• Plan and run workshops to understand needs, test assumptions and validate use cases.
• Capture stakeholder feedback into clear findings and recommendations.
• Challenge unsupported assumptions and align technical and business discussions.
• Support progression of opportunities from discovery to pilot and commercial pathway.
