Job summary

AND-E is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support Track 5 commercialisation within a major AI R&D programme. You will lead business analysis, translate research outputs into clear requirements, and develop evidence‑based business cases to guide commercial pathways.

The role focuses on opportunity analysis, market needs, and process design, collaborating with researchers, engineers, and industry partners to deliver structured, actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst in tech, digital or innovation environments.
• Proven ability to lead discovery, elicitation and documentation of requirements.
• Experience building business cases and ROI evidence.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Awareness of AI, ML concepts and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured identification and prioritisation of AI use cases from programme outputs.
• Elicit and document business, functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Translate needs into clear requirements for research and engineering teams.
• Develop business cases with costs, benefits, risks and success measures.
• Support commercialisation pathway and pilot activities.
• Analyse current processes and design future‑state workflows.
• Communicate with insurers, industry partners and customers.
