Job summary

The Citation Group is seeking an AI Architect to lead the AI/Data architecture practice within the delivery area, reporting to the Chief AI Officer. You will own architectural standards, model selection frameworks, token-cost governance, and data readiness across Citations platforms.

You will influence decisions across Product, Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure and ensure architectural risk is managed from design to production, with formal reviews and governance.

Qualifications

• Senior — 6+ years in software, data, or platform engineering/architecture, with meaningful hands-on time on production AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Architectural standards and patterns
• Own design patterns for AI systems: retrieval/grounding, agent orchestration, prompts and guardrails
• Model selection framework for open-weight vs closed models
• Tokenomics and cost governance for AI solutions
• Data architecture readiness across Salesforce, Atlas, Snowflake and integration layers
• Governance: approval path for AI architectural patterns and sign-off on AI design elements of partner Statements of Work
• Production quality, observability, and incident response for AI systems
• Security and compliance involvement from the start in major initiatives
• Third-party delivery oversight and design review of Statements of Work
