The Citation Group is seeking an AI Architect to lead the AI/Data architecture area, embedded in the delivery function and line-managed by the Chief AI Officer. You will own architectural standards, patterns, and decisions across AI initiatives, ensuring security, cost governance, and production readiness from concept to live systems.

Qualifications

• Senior level with 6+ years in software, data, or platform engineering/architecture.
• Meaningful hands-on time on production AI systems, not just pilots.
• Ability to influence across Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure and the Business.

Responsibilities

• Own AI-specific architectural standards and patterns.
• Escalate decisions with the Architecture Review Board for cross-functional impact.
• Attend initiative design conversations early to shape them.
• Review proposals and Statements of Work before commitments with delivery partners.
• Define and validate proof-of-concept scopes and success criteria.
• Oversee production quality, observability, and cost governance for AI systems.
