Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnershipsPreparing corporation tax returnsPreparing personal tax returnsPreparing and reviewing VAT returns, depending on experiencePreparing management accountsCompleting accounts and tax work from client records through to draft stageIdentifying queries and communicating directly with clients to resolve themCarrying out bookkeeping and accounting adjustments where requiredReviewing bookkeeping records before accounts preparationHelping clients with Xero and other cloud accounting softwareLiaising with HMRC and Companies House where requiredKeeping clear records, notes and actions within our practice management systemManaging your own workload and deadlinesSupporting junior and trainee team members as your experience developsWorking closely with Client Managers and Directors on more complex assignments
AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, recently qualified, or able to demonstrate equivalent practical experienceExperienced in preparing year-end accounts within an accountancy practiceComfortable preparing corporation tax returns and personal tax returnsFamiliar with VAT and bookkeepingComfortable dealing directly with clientsOrganised and able to manage deadlinesKeen to continue developing technicallyPositive, team-focused and willing to help othersComfortable with Xero and cloud accounting technology
