Senior Account Executive, Business Development - Sales

Overview

Our Business Development Sales team builds strong relationships with customers, develops insights into buying decisions, and creates new opportunities through strategic, solution‑based. You will be responsible for accurate forecasting and delivering transformative outcomes that influence decision‑makers across all business levels.

Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, you will identify and develop strategic opportunities with new and existing clients. You will develop strong relationships with key customer contacts at all levels of the business to gain an understanding of key business drivers that influence purchasing decisions. You will drive pursuit, solution design, pricing, negotiation, and closure, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes that influence decision‑makers across all business levels to choose Dell’s Managed Services.

  • Be a sales thought leader, influencing how to segment functions and engage a client set with an advanced‑level professional, proficient understanding of the product and services portfolio.
  • Lead company‑to‑company relationships to develop competitive advantage.
  • Leverage channel offerings to position the value of the Dell solution.
  • Work with application vendors to bundle our products and services in the solution.
  • Manage vendor relationships and Enterprise product/service solutions.
  • Lead with managed services solutions.
  • Gain access and create superior relationships with senior level executives and influential stakeholders to sustain a long‑term relationship.
  • Effectively align and utilize all available internal and external resources to achieve desired sales results.
  • Gain “insider status” to influence the customer’s buying process primarily targeted at senior level executive decision makers.
  • Establish yourself as a sales thought leader, influencing how segment functions/engage client sets.
  • Manage significant complexity across all vendor relationships.

  • Recognized internally and externally as an authority on technology, products, and services.
  • Anticipate new markets for our products and services.
  • Organizes company‑wide teams in response to vendor/customer needs/opportunities.
  • Works effectively with functional management throughout the organization.
Desirable Requirements
