Bath Spa University seeks a Senior Timetabling Officer to lead academic timetabling for sites outside Bath and manage module selection data. You will work with academic and professional services colleagues to deliver accurate, clash-free timetables and efficient use of teaching spaces.

You will guide student data accuracy, support registration processes and address complex scheduling challenges. Strong collaboration and data analysis skills are essential for continual service improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience of academic timetabling within a Higher Education environment.
• Experience using timetabling software such as TimeEdit or similar.
• Experience working with databases/student record systems (e.g., SITS).
• Experience contributing to process improvement or implementing new systems and processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead academic timetabling for sites outside Bath, creating accurate clash-free timetables and efficient use of teaching space.
• Manage module selection and student data, ensuring records and allocations support registration, assessment and progression.
• Resolve complex timetabling and module allocation issues, including non-standard cases like progression and trailing modules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, Estates, partner sites and services to gather requirements and deliver outcomes.
• Improve processes and integrate sites outside Bath into central timetabling systems; identify efficiency opportunities.
• Provide guidance and develop resources, training and knowledge for timetabling and module processes.
• Support and guide the Timetabling Support Officer and assist workload planning.
• Analyse data and produce reports to inform decision-making and service development.
