This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our timetabling and awards team as we roll out new timetabling, examinations, room booking, attendance monitoring, and graduation software.

As the Timetable System Implementation Coordinator, you will lead key aspects of the EventMAP system delivery, managing tasks for yourself and your team and helping translate current processes into more efficient workflows. You will document processes, conduct end‑user testing, and produce accurate data and project reports.

You will manage day‑to‑day activity within your team, support staff development, and work closely with colleagues and external suppliers to provide system training and ensure a smooth handover to business‑as‑usual operations—contributing to meaningful improvements for staff and students across the University.

This is a fixed-term contract for 2 years.

What you can bring

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with timetabling or related administrative processes within higher education or a comparable environment. You will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems proactively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively and support others through change.

What we can offer you
  • Enjoy a generous annual leave entitlement of 31 days, along with an additional 5 closure days over the Christmas break and 8 Bank Holidays.
  • Enrolment into our pension scheme, ensuring your financial security for the future.
  • Access to our “My Lifestyle Benefits Platform”, where you can enjoy online discounts at hundreds of retailers every day. Plus, take advantage of exclusive schemes that allow you to purchase a new car, bike, or technology at a discounted rate.
  • Your health and well‑being are important to us. That's why we provide access to discounted private medical insurance, health cash plans, and guidance on financial well‑being.
  • Maintaining an active lifestyle is made easy with discounted membership for CitySpace Fitness, our state‑of‑the‑art facility for sports and social activities.
