Join to apply for the Timetable System Implementation Coordinator role at University of Sunderland.
Are you ready to play a key role in transformative change within higher education? The University of Sunderland is seeking a proactive Timetable System Implementation Coordinator to support the delivery of our new timetabling solution. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our timetabling and awards team as we roll out new timetabling, examinations, room booking, attendance monitoring, and graduation software.
As the Timetable System Implementation Coordinator, you will lead key aspects of the EventMAP system delivery, managing tasks for yourself and your team and helping translate current processes into more efficient workflows. You will document processes, conduct end‑user testing, and produce accurate data and project reports.
You will manage day‑to‑day activity within your team, support staff development, and work closely with colleagues and external suppliers to provide system training and ensure a smooth handover to business‑as‑usual operations—contributing to meaningful improvements for staff and students across the University.
This is a fixed-term contract for 2 years.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with timetabling or related administrative processes within higher education or a comparable environment. You will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems proactively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively and support others through change.
We strongly believe that an inclusive university, where a diverse range of individuals feel valued and have equal opportunity to get into work and reach their potential, is good for our staff, students, university, and society.
Our work on equality, diversity and inclusivity has never been more important. We believe inclusivity is an essential value at the heart of what we do, and we want all our staff to be part of that journey with us.
Our recent staff survey conducted in 2023 showed that 97% of our staff believed that we were committed to achieving an inclusive university.
The closing date for applications is Monday 19th January 2026 (23.59 GMT).
