Job summary

Trust Systems Ltd in Farnborough is seeking a senior infrastructure professional to act as the final escalation point for complex incidents, and to manage on-site servers, virtualization platforms, storage arrays, and cloud environments. You will plan and implement technical changes, design system migrations, mentor junior staff, and write clear SOPs and knowledge base articles.

A BPSS/SC background check and a full-time on-site role with a UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and hosting platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 11, VMware, Hyper‑V and Nutanix; support and administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies and Intune.
• Solid background in Cyber Security and patching fundamentals (CrowdStrike desired).
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as final escalation point for complex incidents after 1st/2nd line support.
• Maintain, upgrade, secure servers, virtualization platforms, storage and cloud environments.
• Plan, design and implement technical changes and system migrations.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and write SOPs / knowledge base articles.
