Job summary

Datasource Recruitment is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a secure MOD-aligned project. The role involves hands-on 3rd line support, building and maintaining Windows Server infrastructure, and delivering high-quality technical documentation.

The position requires SC clearance or eligibility, experience with HP Proliant, SSL certificate management, and Windows security best practices. On-site presence is expected 1-2 days per month across Corsham, Birmingham or Loughborough.

Qualifications

• Hands-on 3rd line infrastructure support experience.
• Experience with HP Proliant hardware and storage.
• Experience managing SSL certificates and Windows security configurations.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and support Windows Server infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to a small team and elevate issues.
• Deliver 3rd line support within a live service environment.
• Deploy and configure machines using SCCM/MECM.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Evolve operational procedures as the platform expands.
