Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. in Preston is seeking an experienced 3rd Line Citrix Engineer to join an on-site support team. You will act as the technical authority for Citrix infrastructure, providing expert-level support and complex troubleshooting in secure enterprise environments.

Active SC clearance is essential and sole British nationals only can apply. This is Inside IR35 with a day rate of £290–£310. The role requires substantial hands-on expertise across Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix Cloud,

Qualifications

3rd Line / Senior Infrastructure Support experience.
Hands-on Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) experience.
Citrix Cloud experience.
NetScaler ADC experience.
Citrix WEM experience.
Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy experience.
FSLogix experience.

Responsibilities

Provide 3rd Line support for complex Citrix incidents and problems.
Act as the SME for Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler ADC and WEM.
Lead technical investigations, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Manage and optimise Citrix policies, profiles and end-user experience.
Support patching, upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvements.
Work closely with architecture, engineering and cross-functional teams.
Proactively identify and resolve defects and recurring issues.
Maintain strong customer service and operate in line with ITIL and service management processes.
