Watford St John's Church of England Primary School is recruiting a SENDCo for two days a week to support our SEND team and contribute to whole school Inclusion and the Anchor room provision.

Start date is January 2027 (or earlier for the right candidate). Salary is MPS plus SEN allowance with an ongoing contract and a closing date of 19 October 2026. Interview date is 21 October 2026.

Responsabilidades

• Determine the strategic development of special educational needs (SEND) policy and provision in the school
• Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and coordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEND or a disability, particularly our children in attendance at the Anchor room
• Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies
• The SENDCO will also be expected to fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document
