Job summary

Lift Plumberow is seeking a SENDCo to lead and develop SEND provision across the school on a permanent, part-time basis (3 days per week). You will identify needs, coordinate support and ensure statutory responsibilities are met to help every pupil access learning.

You will work closely with teachers, families and external professionals to monitor progress, implement effective interventions and strengthen inclusive teaching, fostering a culture where every pupil can thrive.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and NASENCO
• Experience with pupils with SEND across a range of needs
• Experience coordinating SEND provision and statutory processes
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families and external professionals

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop SEND provision across the school
• Identify, assess and support additional needs
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt classroom practice
• Coordinate support plans, interventions and EHCPs
• Build partnerships with parents, carers and external professionals
• Monitor progress using data to improve provision
• Maintain SEND records and the school SEND register
• Provide guidance and professional development to colleagues
• Support the deployment of SEND resources and staff
