The Kingsbrook School, part of Insignis Academy Trust, invites applications for a SENDCO, Lead Practitioner for The ARC, a permanent full-time role starting September 2026.

The ARC is an inclusion unit for students with SEMH, currently 25–32 pupils; the post will drive curriculum development, teach high-quality lessons, and mentor staff.

Candidates should be an experienced teacher with SEMH/behaviour management expertise and the ability to lead within a school and trust network.

Qualifications

Qualified teacher with experience in SEMH.
Experience in leadership roles or lead practitioner is desirable.
Ability to train staff and monitor student progress.

Responsibilities

Lead curriculum development for The ARC.
Collaborate with SENDCo and staff to support SEMH students.
Monitor progress and outcomes for ARC students.
