The Kingsbrook School in Buckinghamshire invites applications for an ARC Administrator to join our Inclusion Unit (The ARC). This role supports day‑to‑day operations, enabling a safe, therapeutic and educational environment for 32 students with SEMH needs.

At TheKingsbrook School we are recruiting for an Administrator for the Inclusion Unit (The ARC) to joinour team.

The post is based at the Inclusion Unit(The ARC) at The Kingsbrook School, which is a specialist Inclusion Unitcatering for young people with Education Health Care Plans and who have SEMH astheir primary need. There are 25 students currently placed in The ARC in years7-10, a further 7 will be placed next academic year until the provision reachesits maximum capacity of 32.

We arelooking to appoint an Inclusion Unit Administrator to work closely with the SENCO, assistant SENCO(ARC), specialist teaching staff, intervention leads and assistant teachers tooversee the day-to-day management of the provision. You will have a high level ofpersonal drive and energy to be able to contribute to improving standards forstudents in the school. This includesleading and delivering personalised interventions (e.g. Thrive, sensorycircuits, Lego therapy) to support the specific SEMH needs of each student,ensuring the unit is a safe, calm, therapeutic and educational provision. Therole involves line-managing the Inclusion Unit intervention leads and assistantteachers and communicating and working collaboratively with teachers, schoolleaders, families, and external agencies to ensure outstanding, inclusivesupport for young people who struggle in mainstream settings.

The right candidate must have a strongpresence as well as excellent behaviour management skills and the ability tobuild rapport and relationships with vulnerable children. You will haveexperience in SEMH, Positive Behaviour Support, trauma and/or attachmentinformed approaches. You must becommitted to student progress and be able to inspire those individuals toovercome barriers to their learning.
