Job summary

Wyberton Primary Academy is seeking an exceptional SENDCO to lead and champion SEND provision across both academies. This is a class teaching role within the Senior Leadership Team, offering the opportunity to shape an inclusive culture and make a transformational difference for children and families.

• Excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of SEND across both academies.
• Ensure full compliance with the SEND Code of Practice (2015).
• Lead identification, assessment, and provision for pupils with SEND.
• Coordinate high-quality interventions, personalised plans, and effective support.
• Oversee the SEND register and statutory processes, including EHCPs and annual reviews.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of SEND provision across both academies.
• Provide coaching and professional development to staff.
• Be a visible and proactive member of the Senior Leadership Team.
