Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking passionate SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to transform the lives of disengaged, at-risk and vulnerable learners. Roles are self-employed with flexible in-person, hybrid or remote teaching opportunities across Maths, English or Science, with supporting local authorities and schools.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, enhanced DBS, and the ability to work trauma-informed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS and two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid tuition for Maths, English or Science to SEND/SEMH learners.
• Plan and deliver tutoring with trauma-informed approaches and report progress to authorities where needed.
• Support recruitment referrals from local authorities and schools and maintain a safe learning environment.
