Job summary

Targeted Provision is actively seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners in the UK. Roles include Maths, English or Science tuition, in person, hybrid, or remote, with flexible hours and a trauma-informed approach.

We welcome candidates with 2+ years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, enhanced DBS, and a commitment to safeguarding. Self-employed opportunities offered across local authorities and schools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to pupils with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils KS1–KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring.
• Plan and report lessons with regular feedback on progress.
• Contribute to raising standards in SEND and SEMH support.
