Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with Schools and Local Authorities across the UK. Roles involve in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching of Maths, English or Science to pupils with SEND/SEMH needs, in a trauma-informed approach.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS and will work on a self-employed basis with flexible hours and opportunities to support disengaged and vulnerable learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND/ SEMH experience preferred.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ references are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback.
• Contribute to raising educational standards for learners with SEND and SEMH needs.
