Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking passionate SEND teachers to deliver one-to-one support for the most in-need learners, across SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor and Specialist Teacher roles. Roles are available on an ongoing basis, with flexible, trauma-informed teaching across homes and community settings.

The positions are based in the UK, require QTS/QTLS, and offer a range of in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
Approach: child-centred, holistic, and creative to tailor the curriculum for each learner.
Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
Location: UK-based with the right to work in the UK
Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

Develop strong relationships with children and young people with a range of needs.
Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid support to SEND learners, including SEMH and other needs.
Plan and report lessons with regular feedback on student progress.
