Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to support young people with SEND and SEMH in local communities. Roles are flexible, with in‑person, hybrid, and remote opportunities available and all positions are self‑employed.

We offer competitive pay (£28-£35 per hour), flexible hours, CPD mentoring, and a supportive SEND team to help you make a difference in students' lives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND/SEMH in a trauma‑informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this).
• You must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online or hybrid Maths, English, or Science tutoring to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible tutoring and mentoring, reporting progress regularly.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools across KS1–KS5 as appropriate.
• Create a safe, trauma‑informed learning environment and contribute to safeguarding.
