Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the United Kingdom to deliver Maths, English or Science tutoring for learners with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles include in-person, hybrid, and remote opportunities, with flexible hours to suit your schedule and a strong focus on safeguarding and student wellbeing.

The role is self-employed and aims to transform lives by providing trauma-informed, engaging tutoring across KS1–KS5, supported by a dedicated SEND team and CPD resources.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/ PMLD in trauma-informed settings.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS (facilitated if needed) and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Support pupils KS1–KS5 with trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring; adapt to needs.
• Collaborate with local authorities and schools to plan and deliver flexible tutoring.
