Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English, or Science tutoring with a trauma-informed approach for vulnerable learners. Roles are self-employed and opportunities arise as needed.

The team supports pupils with SEND and SEMH needs through in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching options. Applicants should have QTS/QTLS, 2+ years of teaching experience, and an Enhanced DBS and references.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tutoring to children with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• We aim to improve education for SEND and SEMH needs across diverse communities.
