Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to provide Maths, English or Science tutoring to students with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles are self-employed with flexible, in-person, hybrid or remote options to fit your schedule.

Candidates should have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS. You will support learners from KS1 to KS5, planning lessons and reporting on progress within a compassionate, trauma-informed framework.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND/SEMH.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teaching and Learning Status (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based right to work and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online or hybrid Maths, English or Science tutoring to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan lessons, deliver trauma-informed tutoring, and monitor progress.
• Report on progress and liaise with local authorities and schools as needed.
• Create a safe learning environment with safeguarding best practices.
