Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking SEND teachers to deliver one-to-one tutoring across homes and community settings in the UK. Roles include SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor, and Specialist Teacher, with in-person, hybrid, and remote options to suit families and schools.

Experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD and QTS/QTLS is essential. You will join a mission-driven team focused on trauma-informed education and safeguarding in a flexible, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher via Tertiary routes.
• Enhanced DBS and two professional references are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one in-person, online/remote, and hybrid support to SEND learners.
• Plan lessons and report progress, with trauma-informed, student-centered tutoring.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and local authorities to tailor support.
• Maintain safe learning environments and recordkeeping for progress updates.
