Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools. We are looking for caring, patient and experienced TAs who can build positive relationships with pupils and support children with additional needs.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access the curriculum, differentiating learning activities, supporting communication needs and promoting positive behaviour, with close collaboration with teachers, SENCOs and support staff.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND
  • Experience in a primary school is highly desirable
  • Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
  • Confident supporting pupils with different additional needs
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good understanding of safeguarding
  • Reliable and professional
  • Genuine passion for supporting children and inclusion

Responsibilities

We are looking for caring, patient and experienced Teaching Assistants who are confident supporting children with additional needs and can build positive relationships with pupils.
