Job summary

Red Kite Learning Trust's Crawshaw Academy is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support students across our mainstream provision and Pathways. You will help learners re-engage with education, build confidence and develop essential skills in a nurturing setting.

Working alongside teachers and SEND professionals, you will adapt your approach to meet individual needs, assist in lessons and support positive behaviours, contributing to a team focused on inclusion and outcomes for all

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people is desirable.
• Interest in SEND, SEMH and supporting diverse learners.
• Ability to work flexibly across main provisions and pathways.
• Patient, calm and supportive approach to behaviour and learning.

Responsibilities

• Support students across both mainstream and Pathways settings.
• Build strong relationships to help learners re-engage with education.
• Assist with lessons in small groups or individually and manage behaviours.
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff and SEND professionals to create safe, nurturing environments.
