Alperton Community School in London is seeking a Send Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND, under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff.

The role covers planning, preparing and delivering learning activities, monitoring progress, and reporting on student development. After-school interventions and homework clubs are also part of the remit.

This permanent, part-time post (32.5 hours, 39 weeks) starts October 2026 and includes a London weighting salary with pro rata options.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning activities for individuals and groups under supervision
• Monitor pupil progress and report developments to teachers
• Deliver after-school interventions and homework clubs as directed
• Contribute to assessments and recordings of student achievement
