TeacherActive is working with a friendly SEND school in Trafford to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant. The role involves providing 1:1 and classroom support to pupils across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on ASD, ADHD and PMLD needs.

The position is full-time and long-term from after October half term. You will assist with behaviour management and personal care where required, working closely with teachers to help every pupil reach their potential each school day.

Formación

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.

Salary: £92.63 - £115 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a lovely and caring SEND school in Trafford, supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4. The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for young people with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD and PMLD.

The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from after October half term. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 and classroom support, assist with behaviour management and personal care where required, and work closely with teaching staff to support pupils throughout the school day.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Experience working with pupils with ASD, ADHD and/or PMLD
• Confidence providing 1:1 and classroom-based support
• Experience supporting behaviour and implementing positive behaviour strategiesWillingness to support with personal care where required
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
