TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ primary school in Trafford. The school has a dedicated SEND provision and is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to provide focused, individual support.

This full-time, long-term role starts after October half term, providing 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with Autism within KS2, working closely with the class teacher to adapt activities and encourage engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a UK school is essential.
• Understanding of Autism and strategies to support SEND students.
• Ability to provide focused one-to-one support.
• Strong communication with the class teacher and staff.

Salary: £92.63 - £115 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ primary school in Trafford. The school has a dedicated SEND provision and is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to provide focused, individual support.

This full-time, long-term SEND Teaching Assistant role starts after October half term, supporting a Year 4 child with Autism within the school’s SEND provision. You will provide one-to-one (1:1) support in Key Stage 2 / KS2, working closely with the class teacher to adapt learning activities and encourage engagement and independence.

Requirements

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Experience working in a UK school (essential)
• An understanding of Autism and strategies to support children with special educational needs and disabilities
• The ability to adapt learning activities and provide consistent one-to-one support
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with the class teacher
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
