Job summary

Engage Education is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants for a primary school in the Rochdale area. You will support pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small-group basis, tailoring activities to EHCP targets and delivering engaging learning experiences.

The role is based in one Rochdale school, Monday to Friday, with a pathway to permanent employment after the academic year. A Level 3/4 TA qualification is provided upon completion of 11 months, and a dedicated tutor supports you throughout.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 1:1 or small group SEN support.
• Ability to tailor support around an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).
• Ability to create fun and engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support within the classroom.
• Tailor interventions to EHCP targets for each child.
• Create fun, engaging learning activities and resources.

SEND Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• Monday to Friday role – Based in one Rochdale school
• Level 3/4 TA qualification upon completion of 11 month period
• Paid £70 per day during term-time
