Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Rochdale is seeking an energetic SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Early Years to KS2 with SEND needs. This full-time, term-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, with weekly salary of 525-700 GBP depending on experience.

You will tailor interventions, track progress, and work closely with teachers and the support team to help children reach their social and academic goals.

About the school:

We are working with a warm, and inclusive primary school in Rochdale who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This full-time role involves working with children across Early Years, Key Stages 1 and 2, many of whom have additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and significant communication difficulties.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children are essential, as building positive, supportive relationships is a key part of helping them thrive both socially and academically.
